Ingredients


  • All-purpose flour - 2 1/2 cups
  • Cold butter - 1 cup (cubed)
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cold water - 4-6 tablespoons
  • Ground beef or ground lamb - 500g
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Beef broth - 1 cup
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon

Instructions


  • In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
  • Make the Pastry Dough
  • Cook the Meat
  • Add Vegetables
  • Add Seasonings
  • Add Broth
  • Assemble the Deep Dish Meat Pie
  • Add Filling
  • Top with Pastry
  • Bake the Pie
  • Cool and Serve
