Ingredients
- All-purpose flour - 2 1/2 cups
- Cold butter - 1 cup (cubed)
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cold water - 4-6 tablespoons
- Ground beef or ground lamb - 500g
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Beef broth - 1 cup
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Make the Pastry Dough
- Cook the Meat
- Add Vegetables
- Add Seasonings
- Add Broth
- Assemble the Deep Dish Meat Pie
- Add Filling
- Top with Pastry
- Bake the Pie
- Cool and Serve
